Our Aim

Picture of earphones and a not which reads Music equals LifeOur Aim is to encourage young people to enjoy music.

We believe passionately that the process of learning to play a musical instrument or to sing offers immense benefits for children and young adults, not only in terms of educational development but also in regard to enhanced physical well-being, the promotion of personal skills and attributes, as well as wider social awareness.

Through a highly skilled team of professional tutors, we inspire, support and challenge pupils to attain personal goals and to reinforce the value of music in a broad and balanced education.

In addition to our school based service, we offer pupils opportunities to participate in large scale performance opportunities, through our numerous Orchestra’s, Bands and ensembles, bringing young people from across the province together in a celebration of all that is best in Northern Ireland.
